Environmental Services Technician 
Location: Franklin, MA
Pay: $18.00/hour
Shifts Available:

• Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm

About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to support our cannabis cultivation facility. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining a “surgically clean” environment inside our flower and vegetative grow rooms.

Precision cleaning is essential to protect plant health, ensure compliance, and maintain the highest production standards. This is not general janitorial work — this role directly impacts plant viability and overall facility success.

• 3 Large Grow Rooms

• 4 Veg Rooms

• 1 Mezzanine Grow

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all flower and veg grow rooms

• Remove grow cubes and plant waste

• Sweep and vacuum trays and floors

• Clean peripheral fans, walls, and filtration units

• Change and date filters on MSB units and air carriers

• Clean and sanitize air carriers

• Wash trays using Dawn dish soap and deck brushes

• Clean irrigation lines and components

• Sanitize trays and floors

• Assist with trash and recycling as needed

• Collect, weigh, shred, and dispose of marijuana waste

• Operate equipment including MJ waste shredder and trash compactor

• Dismantle, clean, sanitize, and reassemble machinery (fans, filtration units)

• Maintain digital cleaning and sanitation logs for compliance

Use of PROCURE Gas may be required for sanitation tasks in the future. Contractors will not initially perform these tasks and would be fitted for appropriate PPE and hazmat gear if they choose to.

Compliance & Safety Expectations

• Follow all internal policies and procedures

• Fully comply with MA medical and adult-use marijuana regulations

• Properly label and store cleaning materials

• Understand chemical usage and dilution rates

• Maintain updated Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

• Follow proper PPE protocols

• May be required to pass a respirator fit test (not required for initial hire)

• Assist with facility security and safety procedures as needed

• Must be 21+

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid government-issued photo ID
