Manufacturing Technician
Location: Boonton, NJ
Schedule: M-F, 7:30a-4p
Pay: $19.50/hr
Position Summary
The Manufacturing Technician performs day-to-day manufacturing activities to support production operations. This role executes batch processes, maintains equipment and documentation, and ensures all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Follow daily production schedules to meet efficiency and output goals.

Prepare and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure proper cleanliness and operation.

Clean and sanitize glassware, vessels, tools, and work surfaces according to SOPs.

Manufacture products using manual and semi-automated equipment per batch records.

Maintain and calibrate equipment as needed to support production.

Inspect work areas at shift start and end to ensure eGMP and safety standards.

Accurately complete batch records and production documentation.

Assist with troubleshooting equipment or process issues.

Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

Assist with post-processing, packaging, labeling, and R&D tasks as required.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace at all times.

Work flexible shifts as needed to meet production demands.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferred.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Punctual, reliable, and flexible with work hours, including potential weekends, holidays, or overtime.

Must meet state cannabis regulatory age requirements.

Background check required. ($70 out of pocket cost)
Working Conditions
Work occurs in environments with plant matter, pollen, dust, temperature fluctuations, and humidity. Employees may also be exposed to cleaning chemicals such as bleach. PPE is required and may include protective clothing, gloves, and optional eye and ear protection.
Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity for handling equipment and materials.
