Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Hudson, OH
Position Type: Full-Time 
Compensation: $35-$40/hr. 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment with a strong emphasis on safety, uptime, and efficiency.

This is not an entry-level role—ideal candidates bring proven industrial maintenance experience across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems, and can operate independently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production machinery and facility systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical control systems, utilizing meters and testing equipment
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Support equipment fabrication, modification, and installation as needed
• Operate and maintain industrial shop equipment and tools safely and effectively
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete repairs and installations
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Maintain and repair HVAC, compressors, piping systems, structural components, and fixtures
• Prioritize and complete work orders based on production demands and schedules
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and updates accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of a technical apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with industrial electrical systems and controls
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Basic machining and fabrication experience
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance systems (CMMS)

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as needed
• Must have strong visual acuity (close, distance, color, depth perception)

Work Environment

• Primarily indoor manufacturing environment with occasional outdoor work
• Exposure to noise, vibration, temperature fluctuations, and moving machinery
• Must follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
