Packaging Prep Associate

Job Title: Temporary Packaging Prep Associate
Location: River Rouge, MI
Schedule: M-F, 8am-4:30pm
Pay: $18/hr
Assignment Length: 4-6 weeks (with potential for direct hire)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Prep Associate to support our production team on a temporary 4–6 week assignment. This role focuses on packaging preparation responsibilities to ensure products meet quality, compliance, and presentation standards prior to distribution.

While this position is temporary, we are always looking for strong talent who may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with our Michigan team in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging components and materials for daily production runs

• Label, sticker, and assemble packaging according to company and regulatory standards

• Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance

• Maintain organized workstations and follow SOPs

• Support the production and packaging teams to meet daily output goals

• Assist with inventory counts and material restocking as needed

• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and company policies

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment & keep a positive attitude 

• Strong attention to detail and pride in the “final look” of finished product

• Comfortable working independently while maintaining productivity

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Previous production, packaging, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
