Cultivation Technician - Gainesville

Cultivation Technician 
Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 7am-5:30pm
Pay: $15/hour
Location: Gainesville FL
6mo contract-to-direct 

Key Responsibilities

Plant Care & Cultivation Support

• Assist with daily cultivation tasks including transplanting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest management.

• Support plant propagation by taking cuttings from mother plants and assisting with cloning and vegetative growth stages.

• Monitor plant health and help maintain optimal growing conditions including climate, irrigation, and fertility.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in cultivation areas, tools, and equipment.

Packaging & Post-Harvest Support

• Assist with packaging finished product in accordance with production and compliance standards.
• Ensure proper labeling, strain separation, and accurate product counts during packaging operations.
• Support weighing, documenting, and preparing products for distribution and inventory tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of packaging areas and equipment.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities including plant tracking, treatments, and harvest data.

• Follow all regulatory compliance standards and company procedures.

• Adhere to workplace safety policies and required PPE guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid government-issued FL driver's license 

• Clean background required

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, agriculture, greenhouse work, or manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

• Ability to work in greenhouse environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and plant allergens

• Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.)

Additional Notes

- Candidates must be able & willing to pay the $60 compliance fee, which covers the LiveScan fingerprinting process required to work in the facility
- Safety shoes are required to have on day 1
